Approaches 

There's an art and science applied in therapy for positive outcomes to flourish.

I use components from the scientifically proven approaches below, avoiding hard to understand psychobabble while sprinkling in humor when it is appropriate. I feel at times it can be beneficial to offer limited self- disclosure, being intentional about only disclosing when there is a sense it will benefit you, the client, staying away from ever using your space to talk about me. Intentional self-disclosure: I'd reach out to a therapist if I need a therapeutic space to talk about me!


I am deliberate about being present and bringing my authentic self to each session while nurturing a genuine sense of connection. Shaping your counseling experience to not be cookie-cutter or copy and pasted, but to be individualized and exclusively your own.
